Is anyone else attending the 60th Birthday event at NCM 27/28 June 2013?
2013 marks the 60th birthday of Corvette, and on June 27 in conjunction with a celebration event planned at the Museum, the Bowling Green Assembly Plant has agreed to open the plant for a special tour limited to 200 NCM members. The fee is $250 per person and includes the tour and dinner that night featuring Bowling Green Assembly Plant team members involved with the C7 launch. Currently, plant tours are not open to the public, and will not open again until late summer/early fall 2013.
We are pleased to share that as a Lifetime member, you have the opportunity to register beginning today. Simply visit the member services link at http://webservices.corvettemuseum.org/PortalTools/login.cfm and sign into your account to register. Registration for this special event is for members only and will open to all other NCM Members on Wednesday, December 19 at 8am CT.

I guess I'll see you there if my plans don't change. I was going to the Gathering instead, but have conflicts for that.

Thanks for your thoughts and invite. I would love that too even if Z less all the time. I just made the reservation just in case since only $10 loss to cancel with NCM. Things could change as I am possibly pending early reassignment back to Hawaii with a possible promotion . The 60th Birthday celebration is on my birthday so I was going to treat myself and see the plant again. I understand how close to the Gathering date and that makes sense. On the other note, I have been so busy trying to get another degree that I gave up on the emissions thing trying to troubleshoot an air leak on the right side that is causing O2 to see lean condition. I did not want to try to retest like that since 6 hour round trip drive and thought I will be going back sooner than I thought so why bother already. I want to get the headers back on and the X pipe/Dynomax Ultraflos I bought last year. So anyway, here is a novice burnout I did with my new Nitto NT05Rs for your entertainment. I don't have experience like the FBI but it was fun to finally lay down some rubber yesterday after my build and breaking in everything, but hardly ever driving the Beast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsFHhP7kQIk Take care and Aloha from the "Land of the Rising Sun".
