Default Selfness pat on the back LOL

Wow,look what i found.
Look how old these are 10 years ago holy cow time flys when your having fun.

Boy,did i get flack from the ZR-1 community back then nobody believed the new kid on the block so i had to go to 2 different dynos (Dynojets) and 2 different tracks to back up my numbers and still got flack, that was a bad time for the new kid (me).
No tuner has ever made these kind of #'s with a stock bottom 350 LT5
pre 2002 heck not even 368's were getting these kind of #'s.

It's not braggin' when you can back it up, Pete.

But then again, I'm sure someone will argue with your numbers and spout off a bunch of BS just so the weekend will be interesting. hahahahahaha

Not that it matters much as I'm the peanut gallery....but IMHO this isn't a selfless pat on the back, nor is it just hot air when you can watch the car do it all day long either in person or on film ( film!?! I'm older than you Pete! LOL nobody says 'on film' any more! LOL )

Pete, the proof of your vision for the LT5 is in all the cars, besides yours, that have been converted to "WTF was that thing?!? How do you get a C4 to go that quickly!?!" Be Proud Brother, be Very Proud!

God I wish NYS would grant waivers for cars over 20 yrs old on emission's testing. I don't even want or need that kind of power, just a little bit more so I can keep up with my C5 and C6 friends a little better. They all have mods and it's tough being a stock C4 ZR-1 sometimes!

A-men, bro!

Said this before, but Pete's Mean Green Machine made one of my favorite ZR-1 memories (and where I got the bug to mod my Z - still very new to me at the time). It was at our first Crown Point Corvette Challenge drag races; Pete, Dom, and I were the only ZR-1s there.

We (C4s) might as well have been "belly button lint", far as all the C5 and C6 clubs were concerned - until Pete lined up against one of the Chicago club's cammed C5s.

Dom and I were in the bleachers watching, and someone said, "Oh, look! A C4 is lining up with (so & so). This oughta be good!" Well, it was good... But! Not as that crowd expected. In 11.43 seconds later at about 129mph, that lowly C4 invoked a "(holy sh*t) comment from someone in that crowd of scoffers (heh, heh, heh). Someone mentioned the car was a ZR-1, and another someone said, "What's a ZR-1?"

The Dom lined up against another of the same bleacher bunch, and beat another C5, and suddenly the bleachers were abuzz with chatter re the ZR-1: what was it - when were they made - how many were made - and LT5???

I came to watch, but couldn't stand just watching anymore, so I took my Z to the line a couple times, and was victorious both passes. I was hooked!

After Pete and Dom and I made a few passes - ALL victorious - there was a crowd of people that came over to where our cars were cooling to look and ask questions about the King of the Hill cars. Several remarked they had never seen a ZR-1 before and wanted to know the whole history, etc.

The Z has been the best car I ever owned, and most fun I've ever driven. And, now with the porting and cam timing - I forever have a permagrin, thanks to Pete and Marc.

It's a well earned pat on the back.

Tom.....I can help you with the NYS emission's problem. It's easy to conform to the rules.

How, Many other stock bottom end 350 are doing what you have done? Bueller, Bueller, Bueller. Just like I thought none. So go ahead and pat yourself on the back. You deserve it.
