Thumbs up Got to see some C-7 Vettes

While we were in Red River, NM on the 16th and 17th of September, we were treated to 4 C-7 Corvettes being tested, replete with camaflage covers and Camaro ZL-1 chase cars. I assume they were playing on the mountain roads around Red River road testing the cars performance in the real world. I can say that there didn't appear from what I could tell under the covers a great body change from the C-6 though I'm almost certain that I caught a glimpse of a new headlight array....

Very cool!

Do you think the C-7 will be faster than this ZL-1? 200+mph

If you believe what the General is saying then no, most
likely an LS3 variant. I think what we saw could have been base models. I just wish I'd screwed up enough courage to have chased and tried to get a photo....

What I got was just a quick glimpse as I was leaning through the corner and the car approached. It had a different look than the C-6 Scott. What I thought I saw was multiple and tiered where the cover was peeled back.
