New Injectors
Just installed new injectors on 1991 ZR1 today. Thanks to Marc Haibeck's DVD, everything went well. Just a couple of comments; I thought I had all the tools needed, but found out that a long T40 Torx is needed for a couple of the bolts in Plenum. Also had a couple of questions, so called Marc Haibeck and they were very helpful. The Injectors I installed were Delphi, purchased from Fuel Injector Connection. The original primary injectors did not have the O ring on the bottom; the secondary injectors did. The injectors I bought, all had the O rings on the bottom. For the new Primary Injectors, I removed the O rings. The car started immediately and after a couple of minutes, it was back to normal and now runs better than ever. Again, thanks to Marc Haibeck and the DVD. Even with my limited experience and working on cars, it was relatively easy. Also saved over $1000 from the quote I received to have the injectors replaced.
