Bonefied Salt Flats Car
Talked with Jamie over at Bonefied Customs in GR MI on the Salt Flats car. They built their own motor, 5.0 ltr with Bryant crank and custom $6K cams, volkswagen solid tappet lifters
The car has a dry sump system where the ALT/AC went, which is what allowed them to run 9200RPM Best part is they are going to change the cams on the LT-5 to belt drive in search of more RPM..... They are aware of the interest in the project and said although time is short they might be able to squeek out an article, right now they are deep in another car(non-LT-5) for a race in Mexixo. They also left an open invite for a group tour at some point...
