Default Dirving a 1,500 Horsepower Corvette on the street

Man, I thought I was doing good trying to get over 500 HP. This makes me feel very silly.........1,500 horsepower? I guess you can never have too much. This is friggin insane; I don't think I have the balls to use 1,500 HP.

I did drive a 1,300HP TT Ford GT for a short distance once, just an insane amount of HP, you hardly press on the pedal and you're just GONE!! And if you press too hard, your rear tires are gone LOL!

Wow, that is about the same thing and I can't even imagine what that is like. You can surely do the $100 dollar bill on the dash trick to tell the passenger if they can grab it, then can have it. I'm sure they can't.

I don't think they could grab it because it would fly loose from whatever taped it to the dash and plaster itself agains the rear of the trunk in a nanosecond.

If there is anyone that knows about G force and its effects, an Air Force Pilot would for sure.

Maybe the passenger could snag the bill as it flew past? Got to have quick reflexes though!

I can't even conceive of anything that has that much power! It makes me laugh that I think my stock ZR-1 is okay!

I was thinking. A friends '70 396 Nova w/L88 top end & cam & '56's...no! My friend's 396/350 69 camaro....no! My '72 LT-1....not! Yep, I sure as heck don't have anything to put any scale to 1500 hp under my right foot!!!!

Do we really believe 1500 hp? Has anybody actually seen a street car dyno that kind of hp? Maybe I'm nieve, I just can't imagine.

Tom,

It is a good thing you're not a HP junkie and if your stock ZR-1 is okay that is a good thing. Save your money for retirement. I already pissed away too much $ on mine and in all reality a waste of money.
