Decided to make the change from the CCW Classics to the CCW 505A's. Wheels are 19x10 and 20x12.5 with 295/30/19 and 345/25/20 out back I think they turned out great and John at CCW did an amazing job. I ordered these March 15th and rec'd them today all mounted and balanced (keep in mind they had to be made, John ordered the tires, mounted and balanced, shipped, etc.). Just to give you an idea of what kind of service John provides, I called him to discuss the front tires since they bulge a little and may need a wider wheel. John say "no problem, let's get them back here and try an 11" wheel." I have bought a lot of aftermarket parts for my cars and have never had the level of service that I have gotten from CCW over the years.
On a side note, I may end up having to go with 20" wheels in the front to get the tire diameters closer. The current difference in diameter between the front and the rear is .7" and even that is resulting in the Service ABS and Service ASR lights. I will probably need to put a 285/30/20 on the front which is virtually the same diameter as the big 345's. The back tires look awesome. The ride is not bad but I have coil-overs which smooths the car out considerably. I think this dispells the notion the 20" wheels don't look good on a C4, although I am sure there will be some people out there that think this looks too radical. I think it turned out pretty darn good ![]() ![]() ![]() |

They do look very nice! What did you end up doing with your old classic wheel/tire combo set?

Very nice! Looks absolutly stunning! Let us now if going to the 20" eliminates the service lights, would be interesting to know. By-the-way, who is CCW?

Thanks for the compliments on the wheels. I ended up having a bad wheel speed sensor, so the current 19/20" setup works fine with no problems. I still have to go to a 19x11 front wheel to fit the 295's on the wheel comfortably as they are too wide for the current 10" wide wheel. The speedometer is not off by much since the overall diameter is fairly close to the original tires. The CCW Classics that were on the car have been sold already, sorry. Here is a link to the CCW website:

That is a great looking car, rims make it look truely unique. Is that car only for show? With that small side wall on the rear tires how does it ride? Even if it rides like a wagon it is still beautiful.
