I'm a NEWBIE!!!
Hello All! I just want to introduce myself.
I'm a newbie to this forum as well as to the coveted ZR-1. I've been in the military for the past 20 years and am currently deployed overseas. I just made a ZR-1 purchase online from another fellow military member. I have yet to sit in it or drive it but that will all change in less than a month. I bought a '91 Black/Black ZR-1 with 32,000 original miles. It's fitted with Watson ceramic coated headers and Borla exhaust. I ran it through carfax and I will be it's third owner. It has been in no accidents and/or incidents (Comforting) and seems as if everything jives. I am a sponge for knowledge and I look forward to figuring this beast out by tapping into all your knowlege. I plan on doing the maintenance and repairs myself as I have a hard time trusting someone else working on my toys. I already have a '95 Comp Yellow CP w/35,000mi and previously owned a '81 Corvette 4-speed. Well I look forward to contributing to this site and I'm sure I'll have more questions than answers. Thanks! Elmer

Elmer & welcome to the asylum!!
Be prepaired for the most common of all ZR-1 afflictions..... aka Permagrin! You're gonna like the way a KOTH looks with you behind the stick. I hope you have a long & rewarding ownership! Thanks for your service to our country! Tom

Hello Elmer, and welcome to the forum.
First I'd like to thank you for all your years of service to our country. As to the questions vs. answers, we all start out like that and eventually it will turn out to be the other way around. |
