Default Oil Cooler Lines

Long shot, but anyone have an extra set of the steel braided oil cooler lines that were part of that group buy that was done a couples years back?

Depending on which group buy it was, you might have been frowning harder if you had gotten in on it...

Marc used to buy leaking lines for $50 and rebuild them. I don't know if he still does. I have the leaking original lines from my 1990 if you want to get them rebuilt and have a fair price in mind. It's the block that connects to the oil cooler that I believe is the "valuable" part.

Someone in WAZOO had the lines rebuilt in like Gaithersburg, MD or somewhere fairly local?

Take your pick.

http://www.whiteracingproducts.com/i...oducts_id=1001

I also have about 40 of the blocks in stock for $65.00 each if you want to make your own lines.

Just buy Johnny's lines and replace with SS braided hose and fittings

Kurt has the Aluminum adapter manifolds for $65.
1. Use two 10 AN Stainless Steel Braided hose.
2. use two AQP Hose, 90 Degree, -10 AN Hose to Female -10 AN, Aluminum, Nickel Plated.
3. Use two AQP Hose, 45 Degree, -10 AN Hose to Female -10 AN, Aluminum, Nickel Plated.
4. Use two Stat-O-Seal, 5/8 in Inside Diameter, Aluminum with O-Ring.
5. Use two 5/8" JIC x #6 SAE fittings threaded into the Aluminum adapter manifold.
6. One 6mm x 1.0 x 35 mm SS Allen head bolt.
7. One 6 mm SS washer.
8. Two "O" rings for the Aluminum adapter manifold to oil cooler interface.

The first four items can be found at Summit Racing. The fifth item can be found at Discount Hydraulic Hose. Google and shop around for the best price.

In the 6th post of Solutions you will find the instructions for making your own SS Braided hydraulic lines with reusable fittings http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?p=91379
That's the ticket!! I have an old OEM that I have that was leaking, if I just get the hose and fitting above, I sould be golden!!!

Thanks!!
Rich
