What's the piston to wall clearance with 4.00 bore LA Sleeves?

Block Deck Clearance?

wall clrearance is .003 to .004 and protrusion of the liners is .001 to .003

Al,

Does wall clearance for aluminum sleeves (stock) vary from steel/iron sleeves? And, are yours/Bob's/Kevin's sleeves steel or iron?

BTW...How do ya like that new clutch? No more slippin, eh?

Don't Know if it is steel or iron . Piston to wall is determend by the piston mfg

Aluminum does have A different expansion rate than iron,I'm sure the clearances would be different.
Like Bob said about knowing what liners were used.We don't know.I think
i'm going to call AES to figure out which ones were used.

AS for the clutch it feels like A stocker I love the it drives.it has really good
street manners.Pete and I need to do some more tuning and after that
it's off to the dyno.

Okay, I also need to know:

1. Block height?

2. The sizes of LT5 oversize valves?

deck height is 9.030"

I think the over size valves are over rated.I don't have them on my motor.
