I don't mind at all. I think that you will find the Registry Forum to be a fairly friendly place. Ask away.
Don't forget to drvie your ZR-1 as often as you can. From personal experience, it is great therapy! Jim |

Welcome and please , feel at home here. Ask away.
Now as far as finding a good LT5 mechanic in Tenn. ? Not sue about that. There is a good one in Bowling Green or the next would be Valdosta Ga. Please don't be taking your car to the local mechanic or Chevy dealer. that will only lead to more problems. |

Welcome to the Brotherhood!
Buddy of mine has a shop in Bowling Green, and he's quite a celebrity as well. His name is Jim VanDorn and his shop is Automasters of Bowling Green. Tell the 'ol Pirate I said Hi and to treat you well. http://www.automastersofbg.com/ Jim has forgotten more about ZR1's than you or I will ever learn in our lifetimes. Jim was the inspiration/instigation/perspiration behind Pirate Racing, a semi factory approved racing team using ZR1's in the '90's. Jim was also personally responsible for naming the 8 DRM cars with the special factory assisted high performance modifications the "Black Widow" cars. He still has one, a.k.a, "The Weekender", it's a beast. TomC 'Crabs Last edited by tccrab; 10-12-2011 at 01:54 AM. |

Do a search ...! well hell if I have to do a serch or read a book then I wouldnt need the site.... So I appreciate it ! Time is a major factor for me, I'm going to be wide open throttle until my body gives out or I get the vette paid for

MR.Tom thanks for the connection.. If I need work thats probably where I'll have to go IF I cant fix it myself. If I can just get the basics of the car and how everything works I can usually figure everything else out, esp. with the help of the zr site. I'm a pretty good mechanic but its a new machine to me. Thanks again.

Well I see Cliff is editing the index to solutions right now but once he gets done and puts them back up this is the place to start.
>>> http://zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11619 Now if you do not see the info you need there then fire away with your questions. BTW much other material is here >> http://zr1netregistry.com/ZR1_tech_tips.htm >> http://zr1netregistry.com/ZR1_issues.htm >> http://zr1netregistry.com/ZR1_troubleshooting.htm And also the ZR-1 Net -- a treasure of info there via the search feature >> http://zr1netregistry.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi |
