One end connects to the bottom of radiator and then the other end connects to the Thermostat housing. Installation tip. Install on the bottom of radiator first then to the top of the thermostat housing

THEN... connect the top of the thermostat housing to the body of the TH unit.

It wont go on any other way as its very short like the original. GC

Ah yes I see it now. Can't see it from the top. I never took it off that's why I didn't remember it. The trick to getting the big hose on that goes from the water pump to the TH junction is to connect it to the water pump first then maneuver the water pump in place without snapping the oil sensor off and your good to go. During this I've found that im missing two fan mounting screws on the passenger side fan motor and one missing on the drivers side.

Not trying to be a smart a$$ here but ..ya think!!!! I've had to R&R mine twice and without pulling the plenum each time due to a bad diode and then a bad bearing on the rebuild. It ain't a lot of fun. There will never be an easier time than at the stage where you are now.

Just a couple tips:
  1. Use a little die-electric grease on the ends of the hoses. They just slip right on that way.
  2. I hope you are using the Samco hose clamps. I didn't and think the top radiator hose was split by the original clamp causing a leak.

I used a wire wheel and smoothed out the sealing surfaces that the hoses slip over on and with a little muscle they've gone on smoothly. I had no luck finding clamps made by Samco so I called Corey Hendeson up and asked what he uses. He said what your looking for are the ABA hose clamps. The gear threads don't go through the band and tear up the hose like the cheap ones can. They are 316 SS and all the edges have radiuses on them to prevent them from cutting through the silicon hoses. He said unfortunately you can only get them online. This is where I got mine. http://shop1.mailordercentral.com/ma...s.asp?dept=127
