I've no experience with that company, but I've done carpet installs in various cars - two more just this spring, actually. It is the "jute" backing (from the link) that raises the hair on my neck...

I'm not claiming expertise, but even with pre-molded carpet there is some heating to be done to get it to conform perfectly, and jute as opposed to the mass-backed (molded rubber-like) and/or the vinyl-like backing, worries me a bit. Can the jute be heated and force-fitted to fit the contour of the various panels like the carpet from MA can?

I will say over all that the MA carpet kit was very good - both of them (bought one for my my wife Ami's 69 C3 Vert). I would buy it again, but there would be a couple things I'd talk to them about before purchase...

For example, the kit did not include the special speaker-type carpet to cover the speaker panels (at your ankle). I called them and they sent me a piece of carpet with a porous vinyl backing which is very pliable and forms very nicely with the help from a heat gun.
My only "bitch" was the edges of the pieces that fit at the knee panels and the console: the stitching thread count was not sufficient to make a clean edge and the nap of the carpet was not entirely covered - fuzz sticking out, in other words! I fixed it with the electric hair clipper, but I'd have sent those pieces back for replacement - had I seen it before the glue was setting up. No biggie - just something to look when inspecting the pieces as they come out of the box.

Get their green carpet cement too. That spray-on 3M stuff...I've never been too impressed with and not even a close second to the green contact cement from MA.

Thanks for the input Paul. I've read several horror stories lately about carpet kits. Trying to figure which way to go. The wife found this guy on ebay.

I put carpet and a headliner from stockinteriors.com into my GMC. The carpet was very nice, but the headliner began to sag in less than a year.

Witch carpet did you get and what backing? Have you noticed any fading? I know nothing about carpet so have lots of questions.

Go mass-backed, it's way better than poly-backed. Mass-backed conforms to the floorpan better, and is more effective for sound deadening.

I sold the truck about 3 years after installing the carpet - I did not notice any fading.
