Im a bit ticked off.

Im not sure weather to name the distributor or not but april 12 I ordered the Samco hose kit (Blue). I get an email on my ebay account stating that my payment was received and I should receive them on april 20th. Its now the 21st and no hoses. I contact the seller on ebay and ask where my hoses are? Your gonna love this. The seller replies back that it shows in their system that they are waiting for me to tell them what color I wanted. So I've been waiting for them and they haven't even shipped yet. They said if I want black they have a shippment arriving at the end of april. Any other colors will not arrive until the end of may. Can you believe that B.S? If I would have known that I would have said forget it. I don't need those stupid hoses that bad! But I've already paid for the Damn things. I got my water pump in four days flat with Corvette central. Yet I have to wait 1 1/2 months for hoses. Their add even said Blue Samco hose kit. Why didn't those idiots ask me what color I wanted on the 12th when they got my money if they wanted to know? Just ridiculous.

Failing that, Kurt probably has them if you really really really need a set in a hurry and don't mind paying the piper.

I wonder if they're waiting for the same shipment that Corvette Central is. I ordered the black silicone hose kit off of CC back on March 03 and when I talked with them today, they said that they should be receiving the hoses next week.

Im more upset about the fact that they sent an email saying they were on their way and were with an estimated arrival time when in fact they had never left the station. They only reason I bought them from kdperformance (1300) was the hose kit was only $175. I don't know what kurt or Jerry sells them for but im not in a huge hurry and there's no sense in ordering them twice unless of course I buy them from somebody else and when these come in finally I can send them to who I got the second set from and get re embers.

Yeah, that really sucks and I had a similar situation like that and one of the unfortunate things with some of the Ebay and online transactions. I know exactly how you feel when trying to get the Z back together and waiting on just 1 item.

I thought the Registry had or was going to sell the SAMCO hoses?

Am I reading this correctly? You would buy hoses again from Supplier #2, then when hoses finally come in from Supplier #1, you send Supplier #1's hoses to Supplier #2 as if they were Supplier #2's items & ask Supplier #2 to give you a refund for the hoses you got from Supplier #1?

That hardly sems fair to Supplier #2 Rick.

The Registry used to sell SAMCO hoses. It did not work out very well. In order to work, we would have had to make a group buy of a large inventory of every color, otherwise we had to buy a hose set at normal price everytime a member ordered one. Then we were in the same position that Rick is in now.

Nothing worse than getting "Hosed"....but I guess in this case you want hosed?
