Default Time to replace the water pump.

It made it 21 years. Not bad. I noticed a little coolant leak starting about the time I went to Coreys for the ZR-1 BBQ but it was no big deal then. But in the last week it got bad. It was pooring out leaving a huge puddle under the car. No more driving it after that. Time to find out where the leaks coming from. Right where I suspected.

Hmm! Maybe I can send him mine and he can rebuild it. Might be cheaper than buying an NOS one.

Talking Re: Time to replace the water pump.

Ebay auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT for the waterpumpman

I got an email from him but can't find it now. If I remember right, he charges $100 to rebuild yours, that includes a gasket and shipping back to you. You ship it to him at your cost.

Contact him through Ebay.

Corvette Central has new ones for $199 plus shipping.
