I got hit by a 90lb chick in a new 1 ton king ranch pickup truck. I was in the right lane she was in the left lane. I was going maybe 2 miles and hour faster than her. I was 90% past her and she decided to turn into my lane and all I felt was a bump in the drivers side rear. Luckily the damage is very light. But its gonna have to be fixed. Hey I'll get a new paint job on the rear and bumper which was starting to fade anyway. So this may be a good thing. Nevertheless it still stresses me out. Could have been much worse though.

Sorry to hear, make sure they take the bumper off to spray it and they don't cut corners. Who is her insurance company? |

Glad to hear you were not hurt. Is there fiberglass to repair or just paint work?

You can see that the seem is not flush
![]() Here's a paint chip. ![]() Paint crack in the 6 o'clock position from the antina. ![]() Same at different angle. ![]() All in all I was lucky. I think that's probably as little damage as a Corvette can have with a Ford King Ranch super duty coming over into your lane. Last edited by rhipsher; 01-06-2011 at 11:44 PM. |

Back last year, a semi hit a 2007 Grand Sport Coupe like that and flipped him over on I-65 in BWG. Severely injured him. He died that next Monday. Like you said, could have been worse.
