There is a new facility called DIY Mechanics located in Sterling Va>>>

They are having an event on Octobers 3 and thought some would like to GTG and go and attend. Many of the ZR-1 WAZOO crowd are going to Mystic CT, but for those of us not going thought this would be fun>>

Would there be any interest in coming to my house in Reston in the a.m. for coffee and snacks and then head over to the event? I am planning on going regardless (subject to weather for me) but would be glad to have folks over. Would be a good opportunity to see the new place and maybe discuss having a ZR-1 DIY event there (already spoke to Ed [owner] and he would look to a discount to rent place out for a 1/2 day.

I saw the flyer on this show and was going to go and check it out. If your having something at your house before, I would be up for that. Let me know.

Would like to get a head count for folks that would like to meet up at my house in Reston for coffee/snack before heading over to the DIY show. We should get there about 10:30 am so we can meet at my place at 9 am and the head out about 10:15. Let me know

Michael,

I was planning on attending this event so I'm in. I am a bit leary of the weather Sunday. The forcast was clear yesterday, but now the latest forcast shows a chance of rain on Sunday. I guess we can keep an eye on the weather and make the final call on Sunday morning.

Well the most recent (7 pm 10/1 ) looks good... shower/rain if any will be late way beyond the event

What do you think... I am in and will be glad to see fellow ZR-1 folks come over

Well...weather report has changed again... now cloudy chance of showers during the time of the event... so lets can the gathering over at my place and everyone just play it by ear decide whether to go or not. Never know weather might change AGAIN... so might see some of you at the event
