Owning a 20-YO car can be soooo much fun. I drove my 90 to church today to stretch its legs and two problems came up:
1. Initially, I heard a rumble from the rear, which smoothed out as I drove. My wife said she could feel a vibration, also. I'm thinking this might be rear bearing or u joints. Anyone have experience with how to tell the difference. My 71 made the same type of noise with bad u joints, so I'm leaning towards that. 2. My CTSY fuse pops. This fuse feeds the a/c control unit, the power antenna and the Bose amp relay, as well as the courtesy lights. I had some issue with it blowing in the past, but it pops as soon as it gets power now. Big short!! Again, I really don't know the cause, but thought I'd start by unplugging the antenna relay and the speaker relay. Anyone know how difficult these are to access? Other than that, its perfect ![]() Jim |
