Default Msd coil packs

I plan to swap out my wires over the winter, and I am creating a list of things to do. One being replace the coil packs, I was thinking about MSD but are they worth it? If not what would you recommend?

I have been told the MSD units can fail. I went with GM OEM units.

I swapped out my OEM coils and wires for MSD units when I bought my first
ZR. I'm still using them 5 years later. Have never had a hiccup w them. Used MSD ignition and CD stuff in my 84 for 10 years. IMO, they work great for startup and solid ignition right thru 7500rpm.

Been runnig MSD coils for serveral years now with no issues. Not sure they perform any better spark wise than OEM coils however, the red color goes well.

Phil,

The color alone is worth the money.
