I plan to swap out my wires over the winter, and I am creating a list of things to do. One being replace the coil packs, I was thinking about MSD but are they worth it? If not what would you recommend?

I have been told the MSD units can fail. I went with GM OEM units.

ZR. I'm still using them 5 years later. Have never had a hiccup w them. Used MSD ignition and CD stuff in my 84 for 10 years. IMO, they work great for startup and solid ignition right thru 7500rpm. |

Been runnig MSD coils for serveral years now with no issues. Not sure they perform any better spark wise than OEM coils however, the red color goes well.
