The "per pair" is an error. I called Summit to confirm. ICPW only packages the C4 lights in sets of 4. This a recurring issue with Summit's product listings in that often critical info is in error. At least unlike Ecklers and almost all Corvette vendors, the customer gets an attempt at a meaningful description, the brand name and a link back to the distributor and/or manufacturer.
The other brands of C4 LED tail lights have the backs of the "lens" with the circuit board sealed with epoxy. Probably a "plus" for the other brand but would be a pain to be able to replace a component failure. Quote:
