I did my heater core the first winter I had the car. Now I have to go back in & replace the blend door actuator which is even farther in the mess. I am doing other stuff while I am in there, like the new dash panel I got this summer. And the new steering column. Shift light, replacement of leaking hvac gaskets, removal of a stereo unit I can't stand, etc, etc.
I may have to replace my heater core again too, I am getting a faint smell of antifreeze... Plus, I get to install a really cool rv mirror I got that has auto-dim, compass, exterior temp and map lights. The wiring harness goes all the way to the front of the car for the temp switch. That's an easy install with the dash already out.
