Better than ever!!

I call her "Phoenex" (spelling alternative as "P...ix" was already taken).

The bumper/front clip is from a '89 (I think Brett said), and the hood from a 92. In my case the "horns" (the front frame extensions that holds the bumper etc.) had to be "tweaked" on a frame jig to get everything to bolt on correctly.

with new paint, it came in under $5k; doing the disassembly and reassembly ourselves (Brett Henderson...is a wizzard!!!). Lesson learned: Things come up quickly at 140 + mph!!

Looks great!

Mine was stupid. I was pulling out of the post office and didn't see a jeep. Didn't really hit but clipped my bumper just right. The jeep just had a scratch.

The main thing is that you were not injured. I can understand how you feel about the Z. It will be like new before you know it. Parts can always be replaced...

That sucks,it just might be totaled. First off,be ready for any and all the BS you will get thrown at you as far as cost. If it gets close to a total you can work it down to keep it under the total estimate. What year is the car, miles and condition? Parts for C4s are everyone, shipping a hood or even a bumper would be expensive,I'd start looking for the major parts locally and the smaller pats can be sourced elsewhere. On a side note,I LOVE FIGHTING WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANIES when it comes to situations like this, they want you to think they call the shots, not even close. What State are you in,you can start by getting in touch with the Department of Insurance and get some basic info to know your right BEFORE you start dealing with the insurance companies. Was this your fault?

I did not think so and that makes life a little easier. It sucks but at least none of it are ZR-1 Specific parts.
