208 does not walk away; it runs and hides!

Give the boy and his car the credit it deserves.

It was likely impounded, perhaps he won't have the dough to spring it.
Where did that happen?
Might be some bargain SPEED up for grabs!

From the link.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Fraire’s heavily modified 2011 Ford Mustang was then clocked doing 176 mph and 208 mph, and he tried to elude the chase vehicle by turning off his headlights and brake lights.

The kid is 19 years old.

Making enough power to do 208 is surprisingly easy now a days. Especially when you're not making a house payment.

You're kind of limited as the UV block in your windshield tends to block radar. That's what the cutout at the bottom of the windshield and directly in front of the driver is for.

Yeah unless you have one of those remote detectors that mount in the front of the car somewhere, or a non-factory windshield, the ONLY place it will work is pointing thru the factory tint cutout just above the dash. I have one there and it works fine. I run detectors in every vehicle I own - always have always will. I hate speed limits.. A detector isn't fail safe by any means but it sure helps once you know what your and it's limits are. We have "traffic law lawyers" here that fix any ticket I may get to a non-moving violation - so that's my backup system. I screw up and get one every 4 or 5 years. Pay the lawyer and carry on...

I just like to exercise my right to know when I'm being surveilled.
