Corvette Road Trip to Mystic
David J and I just got back from the WAZOO Road trip the the Northeast Region for the Corvette Show in Mystic, CT.
We stopped in the Philly area and hung out with John P. for a while. Thanks John the the Cheese Steaks. We then drove on the Ricky's house in NJ and met up with Girard from Trenton. Many thanks to Ricky and Gina for putting us up for the night. Early Sunday morning we set out for Mystic, CT. Final preps on Ricky's beautiful 1995 ZR-1: Empire State Building from the NJ Turnpike: Stuck in traffic on the George Washington Bridge: Meeting at the McDonalds on I-95 in CT. Our Group was now Jim, David, Ricky, Girard, Scott and Lee (in the C-5) Pit Stop: Follow the Leader: Thanks to Scott and Lori for hosting the after-show get together and for putting us up for the night. (Too much vino, but it was great.) On Monday, We left Danbury, CT and visited Frank on Long Island. Thanks Frank for showing us your facility. It was a great WAZOO trip!!!!! Jim

Re: Corvette Road Trip to Mystic
I would have loved to join my WAZOO brothers for this trip. However this poor civil servant was stuck working. I'm glad you guys had a good trip, hopefully I can join the next road trip.

Is that what you are calling it these days? I have seen that highrise luxury firehouse that you call work. Us in the private sector would call it a Resort vaction spot. would have been great to have you over, maybe we'll catch you on the next one |
