Speedline wheels? Info please?
I finally picked up the other set of wheels that came with my car today. These things appear to be well made (Italy), are serial numbered, and have some fatazz tires on them (335/30/18 rear).
Anyone tell me anything about this maker? I have never head of them before. These are the correct 36/56 offset, so I am pretty sure they were made specifically for our cars.

Speedline made the F40 wheels for Ferrari and have been around since 1975, 18X11 36 I assume refers to the 36mm offset. Appears they also made the Shelby Series 1 Wheel, That LocoBob and Jeff run.

Speedline makes good, lightweight stuff. And not cheap.

Thanks for all the input.
I think I am going to remove the centers, and have them black chromed, repolish the lips, and machine new center caps for them. I prefer these to the ccw's. |
