I caught this in the for sale section, I actually knew one of the business partners listed Clint Atklns, nice most down to earth guys you could meet, you would never know they were multi-millionaires.......
DESCRIPTION/OPTIONS= The VERY LAST ZR-1 made and sold to the public!! Fully documented, all original, and ready to go. This is the ultimate ZR-1 for the discriminating collector. The short story: In 1995 there were 448 ZR-1s made. #448 (a red one) was put in the Corvette Museum on 4/27/95. On that same day Wil Cooksey, then Corvette Plant Manager, "delivered" Serial Numbers 445, 446, and 447 to me in front of the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green (see photo with note and autograph). I gave #445 to my company president, #446 to my partner, and I kept #447 for myself. The LONG story: If you are really interested in owning this piece of Corvette history, call me and I will tell you the entire and very interesting story. For example, this #447 was ACTUALLY the last ZR-1 built (AFTER #448) and it was absolutely the last ZR-1 to leave the factory. There is only one LAST ZR-1, and this is it!

Man that must have been a special day in the life of a corvette fan. I can't imagine what kind of feeling that must be to have the plant manager "deliver" your new vette....what a kick that had to have been! And they were yellow ones to boot!
