Default ZR-1 Australia?

Brett Richmond was kind enough to email us copies of the 1989
Product Information
from C-P-C engineering. The first page has
a drawing of the globe and labels the different places where the
ZR-1 was "born".
It has "Girlock (Brakes) Lotus Test Sight (Sp) Australia".
I have never heard anything about this connection.
Info anyone?

The brakes were designed in Australia for the car. And for the prototype hunters, one of the '89's was sent there for testing according to the roomer mill. Who knows it may even still be there? George

Why?
Doesn't make economic sense.
They'd rather hit kangaroos than cows or deers?

They sent at least 2 83s there for brake fitment testing and development, so its not something new. They were seen for many years in a warehouse but its been awhile. The calipers I have on the 88 p-type have no markings to determine where they came from.
