Hopefully the 3rd time is a charm. I've had my new clutch kit for a month and just recieved a pivot ball and clutch fork from Phrogs. "Thanx again man".
![]() Here's what happened to my 2nd throw out bearing. Not much different than the first. ![]() New clutch fork and pivot ball. Well not new but in good condition. ![]() The Spec stage 3+. It's a wicked clutch with clamping force up to 800hp. ![]() Carbon semi-metallic full face disk. ![]() I believe Corey told me Bob Hall also has one on his Z and he loves it. So we will see. This time I'm gonna do things differently. I'm gonna close the garage door and open the door to the house and let the cold A/C air flow into the garage. I love the extra light that comes in when the garage door is open but I don't like the Texas heat and humidity or the june bugs at night kamakazing into my work lights and going down my damn shirt. It's times like these I wished I still lived in California. Perfect weather and no bugs. ![]() |

Well Luis aka "FULLPWR" came over after work yesterday to help me finish getting the tany pulled out. It's amazing how fast two guys who know what they're doing can get a job like that done. He's coming over again tonight to help me finish it. Well what I found is that my fork is bent and twisted 11 ways to Sunday. And the cheap chinese throwout bearing basically came almost completely apart. Bearings and all. Also my C-beam plate bolts were not as tight as they were when I did this a year ago. I'm gonna put some serious lock washers on them this time.
