Default Instrument Panel: LCD DISPLAY

I have problems with the instrument panel:
LCD Display (Liquid Crystal Display)
(Speedometer,Odometer,Fuel)

At night with lit lights and with few RPM during time,
the numbers appear for the half.

Will it be for voltage low-level?

Hi Frank,

I just looked up center cluster in section 8c of the Helm manual and it seems that there are two #161 bulbs that are stacked to backlight the Speedo display. I guess that all the LCD numbers in the center display are backlit and if a bulb goes out then there is no visable display.

I guess that's a starting point. Please forgive my lack of knowledge as I'm still getting to know my 90!

Post up if you need more info from the Helm manual, I'll do my best. Hopefully one of the more experienced guys will post up about this. I think the bulbs are worth looking into...bad bulb = no visable display.

Hey Frank, I found what I was looking for that relates to your problem....I think. Go to the NetRegistry site, click on "maintenance" then click on the "How to" section. On that page all the way at the bottom is a link to a Corvette Forum web page with all kinds of how to stuff. On that linked page near the bottom is a write up about the dash cluster w/some great pics and you can get an eye ball on the situation.
