I'm 30. I was 28 when I bought the car. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with the ZR-1 because I tend to get attached to my vehicles. My dad bought me a new truck when I was 14 (a 1993 GMC Sierra). It's been a great truck; 280,000 miles later, I still drive it every week and I've never had to rebuild it.

We should do a second Poll of how old you were when you bought your ZR-1.
It would be interesting to compare it to this current Poll. Perhaps a third Poll on what age when you bought your first Vette. |

You guys, Cliff and Bryan, are funny!
Okay I'll start: 52 when I bought my ZR-1. No cracks about mid-life B. S.! 24, in 1977, when I bought my first vette, '72 LT-1. ![]()

61 & still having fun. More than that actually. Retired and car wise I'm having the time of my life. My wife and I put 12,000 miles on it last summer. I've had a souped up '56 Chevy 2 dr. post, a '68 Z28 Camaro among many other muscle cars but the ZR-1 is far and away the best of all of them.
P.S. I do wish I still had the Z28, I loved that car too! |
