Rather interesting questions... I am showing two pictures and wanted you NCRS types to give some direction. Pic one is a Bose Gold unit in my 90 ZR and the other is from a ???? 90 or 91 or 92+ unit. What is correct???
What is in my 90 ZR>>> ![]() What is being considered>> ![]() Note the different face plate differences... All comments welcomed |

90 & 91 are the same. 92 went to black background with orange letters.

The radio in your car is correct and should say "Delco LokII". My 90 just went through the Texas Regional and the team that wrote the Judging Manual for the 90 -91 judged it. I'm not familiar with other years, but I know what's in my car

I think 90 was the only year the later C4's had the "Delco-Loc II" feature. The radio in my '90 ZR looks exactly the same as ZR1Vette's first pic. The radio in the '93 I had did not have the "Delco-Loc II" lettering. It looked the same as ZR1Vette's second pic except the background was all black instead of grey, but the lettering was still orange.
The up arrow on the tune seek button looks the same in both pics to me. . |
