K&N are really good filters. Almost too good, have seen a hand full or so collapse internally because they have too much restriction, can happen when they see a sudden pressure drop...end of the ¼ mile, wide open then shut off.

That's the K&N-labeled Mobil 1 filter. The part number ends in 07 for both. I think the Mobil 1 filters we used to get were made by Champion Industries (?). Whether they have the same guts is unknown.
