Front Facia / Black Paint
I have noticed on the front facia of the ZR-1, it is blacked out around the fog lamp/turn signal area and the portion between the signal and side marker light.
My question:Is this actually paint or some type of applique or tape? I have noticed on my car, which is a '92, it is not blacked out and upon closer examination, I have found where the facia has been repainted. Any feedback appreciated.

I dont think its paint,it looks too thick.Ive got a ZR-1 parts diagram and on the front bumper it shows a separate piece for this area but the diagram isn't too great.

Pretty sure its painted on using a stencil after the color coat is applied.
I think the 96 cars were not painted or blacked out in the same area |
