Does anybody have suggestions for getting my SIR light to go off? I have not been able to clear codes using GM service manual and method off of corvetteforum, (jay meeks). Any suggestions would be greatly appreceiated. Does anyone have Jay Meeks e-mail address and would the code removal tool from mid-america help?
Thanks in advance vettenutz 90 ZR1 Red/Black |

I'm not positive, but I thought that when that light kept coming on it was the battery cashing in its chips. If so, you may want to take care of that PDQ. I've heard about a lot of guys killing an alternator this way. Hope this helps.

If you can clear the codes and the fron sensor doesn't fix it then you'll most likey need a new DERM (Diagnostic Energy Reserve Module). Pricey comupter to manage your SIR system.
