Temps in the low 90's are ok if humidity was 10-20% & dewpoint of 35 You guys could've used my garage with A/C, just pay the luxury tax Pete

Re: Our first LT5 pull = no problems
So Paul, what's the plan? 368... 415... 427... 440? At the very least now that the engine is out, have the heads done, valve job, switch over to the later valve guides and seals. Have Pete do the cam timing. Then powdercoat or paint those cam covers, plenum and IH's. Doing the work yourself or farming it out?
Good luck H

AND...paint the cam covers, etc too. Someday maybe. But, gotz ta be practical, more or less. Besides...the Corvette Challenge at US41 might go down (how's that coming btw?), and 80-100 new hp would prolly be good enough for this year - at least enough to put a stake in the ground (and maybe some other club member's hearts...). No? If I were to go bigger, then the complications would most likely get in the way of racing with youz guyz this fall. I wouldn't want to miss any of that. Stay tuned! P.

Re: Our first LT5 pull = no problems
Paul,
Check my post on the Crown Point Drags. Looks like Sept 26th. Time should be enough to get it running. |
