Default B&M Shifter Removal ??

This is gonna sound retarded, but its been like 5 yrs since I took apart the shifter. What pin on the linkage should I remove? The large one on the bottom of the shift handle or the small brass one, forward at the universal joint? Neither seems to want to come out and I cant remember sh!t in my old age. Any help is appreciated.

The pin that has to come out to change the shifter is accessed from under the car, it's about a 3/16" diameter pin that points straight up towards the tranny tunnel/floorpan. It's forward of the universal.

It's the pin that is UNDER the snap ring. After cutting the factory zip-tie around the boot from under the car, pushing the lower boot aside, You need to pry the snap ring off, and then use a punch to remove the pin.
