Now that's strange that the Bilstein guy would say the replacement shocks are valved stiffer. Unless the ones I bought from eShocks.com are different yet?

My new ones, all 4, are decidedly softer than the OE units from BG. I could never use the performance setting on NYC/surban roads or highways, too stiff. The replacement ones I can use the performance setting without a kidney belt and my eyeballs don't vibrate.

Dunno, that is what I was told, he said GM wanted a touch softer.. if the shock were worn though, maybe that is why the new seem softer

Oh yea my OEM ones were quite shot with respect to controlling body movement over undulating pavement in the up & down plane....it got progressively worse as time went by.
