![]() LT5 Gaskets & Seals I just added LT5 valve stem seals and a thicker than OEM plenum gasket (0.047" compared to 0.031") to my products list, so I'm taking the opportunity to repost the list. The 375 hp engine pan gasket has been modified from the stock configuration by increasing the width of the gasket approximately 50% on the front & rear of the pan, where it's most prone to leakage. Compressed thickness is virtually identical to the OEM gasket. My oil pump pickup tube seal (o-ring) cross section diameter has been increased compared to the OEM part to obtain the proper design compression for use with either my pan gasket or the GM gasket. Also added: Dipstick tube seal 90~95 MY Oil Pump Pickup Tube Seal 93~95 MY Head Gaskets 90~95 MY Stainless Steel Bolt Kits 90~95 MY Gasket & Seal "Kits" 90~95 MY (several different levels available from basic injector service to complete overhaul) Viton Fuel System Seals 90~95 MY Bolts...... & More Bolts PARTS, lots of new & used OEM parts and...... currently being manufactured for Jerrys Gaskets Bolt, Camshaft Sprocket 90~95 MY Seat, Valve Spring 90~95 MY Thanks to all who have purchased gaskets & seals.... I appreciate your orders.

Hi Ryan,
You are correct, head gaskets are GM/OEM. I'm working on a different design but will only be applicable with new, custom cylinders.

Regarding the valve stem seals, I haven't really taken a close look or a close read on the subject, but can the valve stems seals work on the exhaust side of the '90 cylinder heads? Can they be replaced without removing the heads? I've assembled some SBC heads in the past. Is there a substantial difference in the placement of the seals, or do they just slip over the valve stem, replace the springs and retainers?

you can add/change valve seals with the engine still in the vehicle, same as an OHV/pushrod engine, but it's a pain...same as OHV/pushrod engine

Thanks for the info. After starting the header swap, I eyed the exhaust ports and its not a pretty sight. Looks like 13 of 16 exhaust valves are having trouble controlling the oil. Just thought it might be easier to put on stem seals than remove and rebuild the heads.
