IL Z drivers... - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

Anybody going to Effingham for the Vette Fest this w/e? There will be in the realm of 15,000 Vettes there. Google MidAmerica - Vettefest for more info.

There is Corvette caravan gathering at the Shell station at I-57 and Peitone (sp?) Rd on Saturday morning at 7AM to take the trip to Effingham, if any of Uz is interested. (It would be a shame if I was the only Z driver there, doancha think?

I'm heading that way from the Bloomington area, probably leaving around 6am to arrive in Effingham at 8am. I doubt anyone has set up a ZR-1 registry parking area, but I did see several other Z's there last year.

This trip was a last minute thing for me, or I might have put my "community organizer" hat on!

How-some-ever, I'll ask at the gate to whether there is a designated ZR-1 area...I doubt it, but can't hoit to ask!

IN any case...I'll be wearing my Registry T shirt. You too?

HAd to cancel at the last minute - I had planned on going and eb=ven had a place to stay. I will miss it again.

yep that was me and the wife....spent a couple of days in Memphis before doing Bowling Green
