jeffvette or flyin ryan/I have a like problem with the new twin turbo fidanza vette that I just drove home from cleveland/It has carbon fibre valve covers ls2 block 415 inches/ on the valve covers it has vents to relieve crankcase pressure, from the turbos I guess/anyway it drips onto the headers and burns leaving a ugly smell when I stop. Not a large amount, just annoying.Do you think running a hose to a vented can, remotely mounted would work?Too bad I didn't have this one on the dyno,it is really loud,as the turbos are mounted were the mufflers were.Drove great comming home 2500 miles in three days with lots of side trips. .thanks for your thoughts/diamond zr1 //joe

well...IMO the best answer is a vacuum pump given packaging constaints, room to mount it & pulleys etc., could use an electric vacuum pump too. otherwise a catch can would be the answer. something like the ones Jaz makes with an open, 360°, K&N filter/breather on top. if it was me, i'd TRY to use only one catch can & block off the opposite cover. why have two if one will do the job? it's extra hoses, mounting etc., i'd try to keep it simple/clean if at all possible.

I use something similar to what XFire51 (Dominic) posted.

I put mine where my battery used to be (battery moved to the back)

I drain it every so often.
The reason some say it doesn't work, they are installing it wrong.
My plenum is dry.

Joe, you should probably be running two. One for the PCV system and then the other coming directly off the valve cover on the passenger side. There really is no room on the driver side, which is one reason why GM brought it around from the driver side on the stock cars.

Give me a shout or shoot me an email and we can get something figured out for you.
