Default A/C Compressor Replacement

A/C compressor replacement

Changing the compressor assembly for a friend on a 90 ZR-1 (#2855). The hose connection on the new compressor is different from the old one. Any idea what I need to do now? Buy new hose, etc…

Thanks

Sounds like you got the wrong one. The fitting going into the compressor is the same 90-95.

Where did you get the compressor?

I thought where the lines connected to the compressors changed. The early ones were level across the two lines and the later had a step so one port was lower then the other. I could be wrong though!

This is correct. Ordered from White Racing. I will look again when I get home.

Thanks

Yep, that is correct on the hose. My manual shows 90-95 is the same for the hose, probably due to the fact the other hoses have been disc.
