Replace them with chrome lug nuts, it looks better.

Hello Mom,

Where can I get chrome lug nuts for the ZR-1 or for the L-98 Corvette?

Almost any auto parts store sells them. You just need to match up your thread type. Just bring one lug nut into the store with you. You can even buy a set of matching chrome locking lug nuts to protect your wheels from getting stolen.

This is a fwiw....I had one fall off on a rear after I first got my Z. Since then I've used my 19mm x 1/2" drive deep socket with a 4" extension by hand to take those covers on & off. I haven't lost one since then, 3yrs ago.

I also be sure that the threads are respected as my covers are plastic ( they're bootleg ) & you can feel when the threads get some dirt in them, I blow them out before they go back on....oh yea I make sure the lug nuts threads' are clean also.
