Default injectors

Hello everyone,
1991 w/ 66 000 mi. Verified my injectors over the weekend.
I had 2 primaries with 8 ohms and one secondary with 5 ohms. I do the 1/4 mile in 13.36 secs and performance does not seem to be affected. What other symptom may this cause?
I heard good things of RC eng. Their injectors have 205 CC flow, is it the same specs as stock? Can I replace only the faulty injectors or is it worth replacing all 16? I would prefer to replace only the 3 that are bad for a question of money.
Thanks in advance,
Steve

Hello Steve and welcome to the forum.

I only have a few minutes so I will give a brief answer.

RC does make good injectors and some forum members do use them. However, the flow rate is different that stock injectors. Having spoken to Aaron at SGC, he recommended against mixing stock and non stock injectors for that reason. He did say that you can replace the injectors that are malfunctioning without having to replace all of them, just as long as you stay within the same flow rates. As a result I replaced one faulty injector with another stock one and never had any problems.

Default What is stock flowrate anyway?

Thanks for the reply Z Factor.

What is the stock flowrate anyway? RC is 205 cc. I'm sure they can make some injectors with same flow.

Thanks,
stedi
