it has been suggested that i have a chief package on my 1992 #0389. I don't know how i could determine that. There is a 'phase one' emblem on the console with a zipper design in a diamond shape.

The obvious thing to look for is both the Callaway header/cats, and the SuperNatural exhaust. Less obvious would be the single-mass steel flywheel or Callaway prom.
That emblem doesn't sound like anything Callaway made. Can you take a picture though? Take a picture of the exhaust manifolds in the engine bay, and I bet we could tell you if they are Callaways or not. Also you can call Callaway as Jeff suggested. They keep pretty good records. |
