Just curious, as I'm doing my first oil change on my 93 ZR-1 and removing the plug was surprised to see a very old, cracked white plastic washer.
My car has 64,000 miles and according to the Carfax records was regularly dealer serviced through June 2024, so it's surprising it doesn't have the correct rubber-insert washer, or even a generic crush washer. I stumbled across this thread https://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread...t=nylon+washer which indicates at one time NCRS was looking for a white nylon washer which seems to be what I have, but according to that thread, this was incorrect, though mine certainly looks like it could be original to the car, or maybe a very early dealer service replacement? I just ordered correct washers from Jerry's, so I'll have to wait patiently before refilling now.
