Default Post Editing by Board Members

I have had several 0f my posts edited by new board members. As far as I kmow I did not break any Registry rules in creating the posts. Apparently the posts were edited to improve the understanding which I am not so sure the new board members have the knowledge him or her self to actually improve the meaning of the posts edited. And...the posts were edited without my knowledge.

Let me have my own conversations with other members if there are questions on the meaning of my posts. If not, there is no reason for me to continue my membership if my posts are changed/altered in any way. If Registry rules have been broken, notify me and I will change my posts I have created to conform with the old or "new"" rules I may not be aware of. This also applies if the posts are in a Sticky.

No new Technical Posts in SIX Days

And....do not edit this post......if you do not understand the meaning just delete the post and I will get the message

I would have to agree with Dynomite on this matter.
IF a post does not violate forum rules, then Right, Wrong or Indifferent, the post should not be arbitrarily modified, without first contacting the OP privately to recommend or discuss the issue.

Cliff, I believe we had a miscommunication/misunderstanding. I will plan to call you this week. Right now I am overconsumed with fixing the basic functionality of the Forum.

Default Post Editing or Post Deleting by Board Members

No need to call....everything is fine

Prefer you Delete my posts vice Edit as you like
If you Edit my posts I cannot keep up as two or more folks editing of posts gets complex

In regard to "Solutions".....
"Solutions" does have over 340,000 views so must be helping somebody.
If you decide to continue with "Solutions" here is related information

1. A few years ago Photobucket changed its policy and many of us stopped using photobucket.

This left many posts in "Solutions" no longer showing photobucket photos but still showing the associated technical discussion unaltered. I have some of my own posts with Photobucket image that I have not changed myself still in "Solutions".

What I have been doing and continue to do is add new technical posts found in various threads having photo coverage to "Solutions" as they come up.

The Registry posts are limited in size by the number of "characters" and all "Solutions" posts are at [B][CThe Registry posts are limited in size by the number of "characters" and all "Solutions" posts are at maximum character numbers. As long as the total post character numbers did not exceed the maximum allowable. The technical discussions in those posts still has relevance without photobucket coverage and is helpful to those in a technical search

We (I) have had a problem recently as well on the ZR1Registry Facebook page with my post getting erroneously fact checked with wrong information. Heavy handed admin can go too far.

Making vague claims without anything to reference isn't helpful. If you are having an issue with your posts on the Registry Facebook Group, please PM me with links to those posts, point out the specific issue, and I work with you on it.

Please remember, Facebook is owned and run by Meta, not us. The Registry is rather limited on what we can do. This is one of the many reasons why we need to steer any technical discussions to the Forum.
