Rules: C4 ZR-1s for Sale / Wanted

Here are some guidelines that we ask all to follow to keep things organized and fair.

1. This section is for C4 ZR-1s for sale or wanted
2. Please post all questions in the thread. Do not use DMs/PMs, e-mail or other unseen communications to reply to the seller/buyer (unless they are not a forum member). This way everyone gets to see all questions asked, all information posted, and all pictures available. This also helps to keep Rule 2 applicable.
3. Buyer beware. The Registry, the administrator(s), the moderator(s) and other members are not responsible or liable for anything that is purchased or sold. The Registry will only attempt to moderate what is being sold in this section but we do not in any way sponsor, support, guarantee, warranty or imply quality of any products bought or sold here. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN, all sales are between buyer and seller only.
4. We do not charge for the Forum posting nor do we collect any part of the sale.
5. Once the car sells or is bought, please mark the title as either *SOLD* or *BOUGHT* and let the administrator or moderator know so we can close the topic. (Goldcylon) Please do not delete the thread as it's important to capture the data such as the VINs
6. Please keep all posts and replies in this section related to the original post. Questions from buyers and responses from sellers should be the only items in the topics. Threads that have been hijacked will be cleaned out or deleted in whole. Response content not related to original post will be cleaned up.
7. TITLE FORMAT - FS: 1990 ZR-1, Red / Black, #1234, 25k miles, $30k in Cleveland, OH or WTB: 1990 ZR-1, Preferably Red or Black, High Miles OK
8. SELLER HARASSMENT. If you are not interested in buying something from someone, do not negatively haggle them about the price, or post things that intend to hurt potential sales. Comments should be kept constructive.
9. PRICE IS REQUIRED. We do not permit ads without an asking price for each item. "best offer/make offer/OBO" is permitted but is not a substitute for posting a price. You are not allowed to "fish" for offers. HOWEVER if you have posted a price and there is no interest you CAN lower the price or ASK the potential buyer to make you their best offer to generate interest.
10. Posts from eBay, Facebook, Craigslist, etc are allowed. Please just come back and delete them after the cars have been sold or the links are dead.

Calling "dibs"

• Due to some potential issues with people replying to ads and calling "dibs", which is basically claiming all rights to a sale, we wish to post our policy on this subject.
• "Calling dibs" isn't valid here. There are many reasons for this.
• Seller has the ultimate right to sell to whoever he chooses, as well as the right to refuse to sell to someone for whatever reason.
• Seller could also have the vehicle advertised in any number of locations outside of the Forum. Its impossible to claim "dibs" on a sale that you might not have seen first. You might be the first to reply in a thread, but that doesn't mean 10 people have already emailed the seller about it from another listing.
• Calling "dibs" sometimes makes other potential buyers lose interest in the sale. This really sucks when the guy calling "dibs" is just a dreamer or is trying to low ball the seller, and ends up not buying the item. The other buyers will probably be long gone by then, and have bought similar items from someone else.
• So, please keep in mind that "calling dibs" on something does NOT guarantee you the sale of the item. Therefore, do not waste your time calling dibs. Just reply with your intentions. Once your sale is 100% confirmed and you sent the funds, you may reply that it is sold to you.
  

Failure to follow these rules may result in your threads being locked, deleted, or moved. Depending on the severity of your actions, or frequency of your actions, your user account could be suspended or banned.

HI Zbrink are you going to clean up all the threads when the ebay links and Facebook market place listings are all gone?

I am surprised to see ZR-1 FS threads being posted on our forum for cars being sold on ebay by dealers.

Not complaining...I understand change is a good thing and I like looking at ZR-1s.

If you see one that is sold or find that the link is dead, please reply to that specific post and me or one of the mods will close it out.

These days there are dozens of places these special cars might pop-up for sale.
The number of places might even seem overwhelming. In addition, some members are not aware of how to search FB or Craigslist nationwide yet their special ZR-1 may be there. I strongly feel, no matter what medium a ZR-1 is being sold on, we should promote the listing in our Forum and try to find it a good home.
