I found a 90z with 20k unfortunately it sat for 8 years (in a barn). I looked the car over the exterior is perfect. Unfortunately the interior has been overrun with mice. I pulled the fuel pump fuse and threw a battery in it. Seems like most things might work again. I know the mice have done a fair bit of damage.....don't know the extent. The owner said it ran fine when parked.
I can snag it for $9k, should I buy it? Last edited by ZBrink; 01-19-2025 at 04:16 PM. Reason: Title Edit |

Thanks for the reply! Have to gut the interior replace the carpeting, I would guess? Not sure if there is a way to get rid of the smell of mice urine...etc. The interior is a moldy/ musty mess....checked the coolant and oil....they look very clean.

Mice can not get inside the ZR1 as far as I know (except in your case) but they do like getting in the coolant reservoir area and on the drivers side in the air induction area and under the plenum which is the worst place to have mice in the engine area.
I use Rodent Sheriff in a spray bottle around the plenum, the two areas each side of tbe radiator and around the battery and windshield fluid bottle.....very effective👍👍👍 I would like to know how mice got inside the car...... But.....like Marty suggests.....The Price is Right 👍👍 Oh.....see you just joined.....Marty and the rest of the gang can help you restore anything on the ZR1 👍👍👍
