Re: Best Place to Buy Injectors?
I have to ask, what flow rate are the FIC injectors for the Stock lt5? I have heard 20 pounds. and if this is true, what pound injector would be good for a 700 motor? I am overthinking getting Accell 21 pound injectors feeling that they are going to be too small...

Re: Best Place to Buy Injectors?
My set arrived lightning fast from Jerry. Oddly enough, considering the volumes this time of year, it was the fastest delivery I've had yet.

Re: Best Place to Buy Injectors?
Just to follow up on this, got Jerry's injectors installed, and what a wonderful difference. Smoothed out dramatically right away. Ran through the tank of old gas, gave it a tank of the fresh stuff, and she just began to sing. What a sweetheart of an engine the LT5 is.

Before the FIC/Jerrys Gasket marriage, I turned to the Summit Racing #150821s 21# rated) back in 2012 (IIRC) and have had ZERO problems since! The only mod required is grinding off the little plastic indexing (connector) nub for use in the secondary ports only. And, I can tell ya they support 510+ HP w/o any problem in the past 9+ years!

Re: Best Place to Buy Injectors?
RC Engineering has an easy BSFC CALCULATOR to help determine injector flow required to support a desired CHP. The stock injector flow is good enough for ~ 540chp w an 80% headroom from static.
I would also recommend not taking flow rates for granted from the supplier and get the Injector Voltage Offset(if available)for better idle performance. You?d be surprised at how much smoother the motor runs when cylinder fuel flow is evenly matched. https://www.rcfuelinjection.com/Technical

Re: Best Place to Buy Injectors?
I?ve had the RC in my 1991 ZR-1 for 13 years. No issues and very smooth.

Re: Best Place to Buy Injectors?
I had RC Injectors in my 95 for most of the 20 years I owned it.

Re: Best Place to Buy Injectors?
Install RCs and then forget about them. Most dependable on the market followed by FICs and or Accels.
